PML-N, TLP workers clash over banners placement in Lahore

LAHORE: Party workers of the Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) clashed with each other over a dispute regarding the placement of banners and posters of their respective parties.

The complainant, Hafiz Qari Ikramul Hassan, claimed that two TLP workers were placing banners when the accused reached the spot and attacked them.

Malik Rafaqat and others were named as the accused.

Moreover, Hassan alleged that a group of 10 to 12 people led by the accused attacked a library attached to a mosque and when he tried to intervene, they attacked him with an iron rod.

After the incident, TLP workers took to Fazal park and Shahdara and staged a protest against the PML-N.
