ISLAMABAD: MMA has asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take notice of the removal of Mian Muhammad Aslam’s posters for the National Assembly (NA) seat he is contesting on and giving a free hand to “darlings”.
According to an MMA statement, the posters of Mian Muhammad Aslam are not only being removed from sectors G-10 and G-11 but also district management officials and police personnel of specific mindset have torched the banners. In the presence of officials of district management and police personnel of such mindset it has become difficult to run an election campaign, the statement added.
MMA said that invisible forces are targeting MMA candidate for the sake of the success of “darlings”. If this state of affairs prevails then MMA will inform the nation of its next strategy, MMA added. MMA further said that ECP should take notice of the situation and sort out the problems MMA is facing.
