PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) senior leader Muazzam Khan Hoti announced that he is joining Awami National Party (ANP) along with hundreds of his associates here on Wednesday.
The decision was announced in a political gathering organised at Landaki area at Hoti, district Mardan.
Those present on the occasion included Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) ANP provincial president Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, Ali Khan and others.
Ameer Haider Khan Hoti welcomed the newcomers into the party fold.
Addressing the joining ceremony, Ameer Hoti said that ANP had always served the people on a humanitarian basis and after returning to power they will approve a new National Finance Commission (NFC) Award from the federal government.
Speaking on the occasion, Muazzam Hoti said that PTI during the five-year rule had failed to fulfil even a single commitment.
He said that instead of giving due status to workers, the party had always hurt their feelings.
