Renowned British biologist and writer Richard Dawkins drew Fatima Bhutto’s ire for his post regarding the azaan, a call for prayer.
In a Twitter post, Dawkins, posted a picture of himself in front of a cathedral, comparing the sound of the church bells to the Muslim call to prayer.
“Listening to the lovely bells of Winchester, one of our great medieval cathedrals. So much nicer than the aggressive-sounding Allahu Akbar. Or is that just my cultural upbringing?” wrote the 77-year-old.

To this Fatima Bhutto replied curtly, “No, it’s your bigotry.”
No, it’s your bigotry. https://t.co/73nwuSGjgK

Unsurprisingly, many others shared the same views as Bhutto and slammed the author for his ignorant comments.
I have the same relationship with it as you have with the “Bells of Winchester”; but what you suggested here is ignorant and flat out wrong. As an atheist, you should stop this ironic dance of hate on the lines between religions.

Dr @RichardDawkins, you used to be my intellectual hero. I learned so much from you. It makes me sad that you feel the need to say things like this. It does not contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way, and comes off as very intolerant. I miss the old you.

Nope just a bitter old man, angry that the older he gets the more irrelevant he becomes

You must be verry pathetic and learned verry little in life if this is your opinion.

He’s always been an intolerant and irrational bully. The fact that he uses long words (many of them incorrectly) does not make him an intellectual. He is an evangelical Atheist, hating all religions but his own.
