We know that Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a rare kind of cancer and might we add that he has been fighting it like a warrior.
In a short appearance on Twitter on Sunday, the acclaimed actor changed his display picture where he appears to be physically weaker, but high in spirit.
We assume that the ‘happy picture’ in a yellow is a sign that he is doing okay amid the cancer treatment and is not letting it take over his will to be high-spirited. His fans reacted to the picture lauding the positivity he exudes.
The picture is most likely clicked in London, where the 51-year-old is seeking treatment for a Neuroendocrine tumour.
Earlier this year, Irrfan left fans, friends and colleagues shocked by informing them via social media that his life had been shaken up by a “rare disease” and that he was “fighting for choices”.
Last month, Irrfan penned a heartfelt note about how life-changing the disease has been for him, and how it has made him realise “how you are just a cork floating in the ocean with unpredictable currents”.
He added, “It’s been quite some time now since I have been diagnosed with a high-grade neuroendocrine cancer. This new name in my vocabulary, I got to know, was rare, and due to fewer study cases, and less information comparatively, the unpredictability of the treatment was more. I was part of a trial-and-error game.”
As of now, the actor has been sharing songs from his upcoming movie Karwaan, set to release on August 3.
