KHAIRPUR: Two children drowned while taking bath in a canal here on Sunday. Body of one fished out, search for other was underway.
Rescue sources said that two while taking bath in Rohri Canal in Khairpur, two children were swept away by gushing wave and drowned in deep water.
Other children present at the scene informed the elders after which rescue operation was kicked off.
The body of one child was pulled out while the search for other was in progress.
