PML-N postpones Swat meeting as nation mourns KP, Balochistan attacks

SWAT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has postponed its public meeting in Swat today (Sunday), due to national mourning over terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.

Now the public meeting will be held on Monday that will be addressed by PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif. Meanwhile, Shahbaz Sharif will visit Quetta on Sunday to condole with bereaved families of martyrs and inquire after health of injured of Mastung terrorist attack.

Further, Pakistan is observing a day of mourning on Sunday to express solidarity with the families of the victims who were killed in the recent terrorist attacks in Peshawar, Bannu, and Mastung.

It was reported that caretaker Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasirul Mulk announced a one-day official mourning over the deaths of 130 people killed in the blasts targeting election-related activities.

The national flag is flying at half mast on the occasion.

Balochistan Government has announced to observe three-day mourning in the province in wake of tragic Mastung incident.

Earlier, on Saturday the dead were laid to rest in their respective ancestral hometowns and villages.
