ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary Information Fawad Chaudhry said on Friday that the latest round of terror attacks in the country are aimed at delaying the upcoming general elections, a local media outlet reported on Friday.
The PTI leader also accused the caretaker government of incompetency in dealing with the security challenges of the country.
“Our enemies want that elections should be delayed. The most important agenda for all political parties at this time should be in time and transparent holding of elections as this is necessary for the future of the country. For elections it is necessary to maintain peace in the country,” he said.
Fawad Chaudhry also blamed the caretaker government for mishandling the situation arising from the arrival of former prime minister and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.
