In light of the recent attack in Mastung and subsequent martyrdom of Nawabzada Siraj Raisani and 130 others, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted from his personal account and paid tribute to Raisani.
He said, “Salute to our national hero Siraj Raisani.”
“A truly proud Pakistani who made enemies of Pakistan afraid,” he added.
“Your passion, mission and message shall be carried forward,” the ISPR DG also said.
The General further added, “We owe you and we shall not let your sacrifice go waste and welcome to the great family of martyred sons of Pakistan.”

Earlier on Friday, Balochistan witnessed a bloodbath when a suicide bomber, carrying at least 15kg of explosives, struck a Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) election rally in Mastung, martyring PB-35 candidate and former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani’s brother Nawabzada Siraj Raisani.
