ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has adjourned the hearing of encroachments case on the petition of Transporters Association till July 18.
A single member bench of IHC comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz took up the case for hearing on Monday. At the inception of hearing, the judge remarked that the case with reference to the encroachments is pending a hearing in Supreme Court (SC).
It is to be mentioned that the learned judge in Faizabad illegal adda case had ordered to open all the roads by removing all encroachments from the city. The judge also summoned the officers of an intelligence agency and secretary defence personally regarding the matter of opening Aabpara Chowk but the later the court accepted the plea for exemption from attendance on a miscellaneous petition.
The judge adjourned the hearing till July 18 due to the hearings of encroachment case in the Supreme Court.
