ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed high court registrar to remove objections and issue appeal number in fake degree case against Axact.
The decision was also taken to hear the case on a day-to-day basis.
A single bench of IHC led by Justice Athar Minallah took up for hearing the petition filed by Axact Chairman Shoaib Shaikh on Monday.
Advocate Rizwan Abbasi appeared on behalf of the petitioner and he asked the court to set aside district and sessions judge’s July 5 decision.
The learned judge remarked, “It is must for the culprit to appear before the court in person to seek relief.”
The counsel for the petitioner, while referring to various cases, requested the court to hear the appeal.
The court ordered the registrar high court to remove the objections and issue appeal number.
The case will be heard from Tuesday on a day-to-day basis.
