Completely recovered from injury, all set to make comeback: Babar

LAHORE: Pakistan batsman Babar Azam is now completely fit and ready to represent the national cricket team after an injury during England tour.

Babar Azam got injured in the Lord’s Test when a short ball by Ben Stokes hit on his wrist, fracturing it. According to the team physio Cliffe Deacon, the batsman sustained a fracture just above his wrist.

The right-handed batsman remained out of the game for almost six weeks.

On his Twitter account, the batsman wrote: “Alhumdulillah by the grace of Allah SWT and the selfless support of my fans, friends, and family, I am recovered from my injury and all set to make my comeback for Pakistan. Can’t wait to be among the runs again for Pakistan. Keep me in your prayers.

Meanwhile, fast bowler Junaid Khan tweeted about the journey to Zimbabwe for ODI series along with Babar Azam, Yasir Shah, and Imamul Haq.

“Off to Zimbabwe for ODI series with and Pray for our safe journey, good performance and success.”
