‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’s’ trailer soars through the skies

Airforce drama, Parwaaz Hai Junoon, has been doing the rounds for quite a while now. It is definitely one of the most-anticipated releases and was earlier scheduled to release on Eid-ul-Fitr this year. However, due to some apparent legal problems, the film was pushed to Eid-ul-Adha. The trailer for the film was released Friday indicating that the film will finally hit cinemas soon!

Parwaaz Hai Junoon (PHJ) boasts a stellar star cast which includes the likes of heartthrobs Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ahad Raza Mir, Shaz Khan, Kubra Khan and Hania Aamir. The film is said to be “a tribute to the brave sons of the soil who guard our skies and long for “shahadat” with pride in the line of duty.”

The trailer opens with Hania giving up her American citizenship and joining the airforce where she meets fellow cadet Ahad Raza Mir, who mocks her for joining the airforce being a woman. From there trailer soars through the skies as we are shown glimpses of their trainings as well as a wedding, Shaz and Kubra’s, full of dhoom dhamaka, where Hania meets Hamza Ali Abbasi and the two fall in love. Their pairing is a little awkward. Meanwhile, Ahad also appears to fall for Hania indicating the possibility of a love triangle.

The 3-minute trailer also shows the trials and tribulations of airforce officers as they balance their work and family life and how they prepare themselves for missions.

Shamoon Abbasi, Sabeeta Syed, Asif Raza Mir and Farhan Ali Agha also appear in the trailer.

Produced under the banner of Momina and Duraid Films, PHJ is written by the legendary Farhat Ishtiaq and will mark the directorial debut of Haseeb Hasan.

Speaking about the film at the trailer launch, Farhat Ishtiaq said, “I have written this story with great passion and have high expectations from the film. The whole crew has worked very hard to bring the story to life and I am sure the audiences will enjoy every bit of it.”

“I am very excited for the trailer launch of my debut film as a director. PHJ is not an ordinary film, it is a tribute to the brave sons of the soil who lay down their lives with pride to protect our country. It is a perfect blend of patriotism, thrill and passion and will surely meet the expectations of modern-day cinemagoers,” director Haseeb Hasan remarked.

Producer Momina Duraid said, “Parwaaz Hai Junoon is finally ready for parwaaz and we hope that we have done justice to the subject of the film while keeping the family entertainment value high. Our audiences will be proud of this film.”

We truly hope that the film lives up to the expectations set by the trailer.
