RAWALPINDI: Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Omar Zakhilwal called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Wednesday to discuss regional security, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the current peace and security situation in Afghanistan was brought under discussion in addition to matters of mutual interest, the statement further added.
Ambassador Dr Zakhilwal appreciated Gen Bajwa’s role in the improvement of bilateral ties between the two countries, the statement concluded.
