Alia Bhatt cordially meets ex-beau Sidharth Malhotra at Ambani party

Alia Bhatt’s relationship with the blue-blooded Kapoor, Ranbir is the talk of the town and everyone has their eyes on the newest couple in town.

However, Alia was previously believed to be dating Sidharth Malhotra. They allegedly parted ways last year and have maintained distance ever since. However, according to a recent report in the Indian media, the two have matured and when they bumped into each other at the engagement party of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, they exchanged pleasantries and good vibes.

Quoting a source, the report said: “Alia, Sidharth, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shraddha Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra were seen enjoying the party to the hilt. From the looks of it, Alia and Sidharth have no awkwardness anymore. They hugged and were also seen conversing with each other.”

The source added: “After spending some time with the gang, Alia joined her current beau, Ranbir Kapoor, and his mother, Neetu Kapoor. It was heartening to see that these actors handled the situation with utmost maturity.”

While Alia came unaccompanied, Sidharth entered the party with close friend Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra. In fact, he even helped Parineeti with her dress when she ran into fashion trouble.

Reports of Alia and Ranbir dating each other had been doing the rounds until Ranbir confirmed the relationship in an interview with GQ Magazine.

Speaking about it, he said, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space.”

Meanwhile, it has been rumoured that Sidharth is planning on moving in with alleged beau Jacqueline Fernandez. Apparently, the duo is looking for a place somewhere in the Juhu area. At the moment, both are staying in Bandra in different locations and the actress has often been spotted at Sidharth’s place. However, both the actors have maintained that they are just friends.

Alia and Sidharth were last seen together in the movie Kapoor and Sons which also starred Fawad Khan.
