MULTAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate for PP-219 has alleged that a secret services agency tortured him due to his refusal to withdraw from the upcoming general elections.

PML-N’s candidate, Rana Iqbal Siraj, told media persons that he was being asked to visit the agency’s local office.

Siraj said, “I was asked not to contest the election on the PML-N ticket.”

“They said they will destroy my business and harm my family,” he added.

He also claimed that a raid was conducted on his fertiliser godown during which he was slapped several times.
