ISLAMABAD: The caretaker government was recommended by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to increase the price of diesel by Rs6.2 per litre, kerosene oil by Rs12 per litre and petrol by Rs5.4 per litre for the month of July.
A summary in this regard was forwarded to the Ministry of Energy Petroleum Division by the authority.
If the caretaker government chooses to accept the summary, the new price of petrol would be Ts97.36 per litre.
Earlier on June 11, the caretaker government had increased diesel prices by Rs6.5 per litre and petrol prices by Rs4.26 per litre.
