SIALKOT: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday arrested a terrorist of the banned al-Qaeda and recovered explosives from him.
CTD sources said that an operation was conducted in Sialkot on an intelligence tip-off. During the operation, a terrorist linked with al-Qaeda’s Umer Kundi Group, Nadeem Ahmad, was arrested with explosive material.
The department confiscated the explosives and the held terrorist was shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
