LAHORE: Police and rescue services Thursday night arrested a man from Lahore’s Badami Bagh area on charges of allegedly raping his minor stepdaughter.
The police identified the suspect as Sabir, who sexually abused his six-year-old stepdaughter, leaving her physically and mentally scarred.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) Operations for the city district, Ahsan Saif, in his statement said that medical reports of the minor victim confirmed fractured bones.
The police arrested the alleged suspect after the release of the medical reports. The minor is in the custody of the Child Protection and Welfare Bureau.
