RAWALPINDI: Six officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing were suspended after being found guilty of extortion.
The officials had been posted at the Islamabad International Airport and were found guilty in an investigation pertaining to extortion regarding two passengers.
Departmental inquiry and proceeding were also initiated against the officials, according to FIA immigration Deputy Director Abdul Rehman.
