KARACHI: A passing out parade ceremony was held at the Police Training Centre in Razzaqabad for the 38th police recruit batch on Friday.
Inspector General (IG) of Police Sindh Amjad Javed Saleemi was the guest of honour at the event while Commandant Razzaqabad Training Centre Tanveer Alam and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Balochistan Ashraf Zubair joined him for the occasion.
The 38th batch was composed of 700 graduates, 217 of whom were women while 213 of the 483 men were from Balochistan and 270 from Sindh.
The training program lasted for three months.
IG Sindh Amjad Javed Saleem, while speaking at the event, expressed his pride that the youth would take on the mantle of fighting crime in Karachi.
He expressed his hope that the training they had received would help the men and women of the police force serve the citizens.
