ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recommended to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in a summary on Friday that it not reshuffle the agency officers.
This development comes after the commission ordered reshuffling of all FIA directors working in different zones.
FIA informed ECP in a summary that agency is investigating dual nationality case, Hussain Haqqani case, high treason case against former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf and on the direction of Supreme Court (SC) FIA Lahore director was nominated as the head of all these committees.
Moreover, PPL case, Petroleum case and cases of corruption of more than Rs20 billion are in progress in Lahore and Sindh zone, so for continuing all these investigation FIA recommended against transfers of any of its officers.
In the summary, as a last resort in reshuffling, it provided the names of officers it should transfer, Munir Ahmad Sheikh as Balochistan director, Usman Anwar as Islamabad director, Shakeel Durrani as KP director, Mir Waiz as Punjab director, Altaf Hussain as headquarters director, Muhammad Younus Chandio as anti-corruption cell director and Sindh director.
