CHAKWAL: An appellate branch of the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected the nomination papers of Sardar Aftab Akbar and Sardar Ghulam Abbas, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidates in Chawal.
Abbas was the party’s main candidate in NA-64 and his nephew was the covering candidate.
Both candidates were accused of concealing assets in their nomination papers, Abbas concealed more than 600 kanals of agricultural land while Akbar concealed 260 kanals of land.
