QUETTA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) on Thursday declared to bring joint candidates for Lasbela and Gwadar seats.
Addressing a joint press conference in Quetta Press Club on Thursday, PPP Balochistan President Haji Ali Madad Jatak and Chief Information Secretary Agha Hassan Baloch for BNP-Mengal announced their joint candidates. For Gwadar’s NA-272, BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal will contest the polls.
Hamal Kalmati will contest for Gwadar’s PB-51 while for Lasbela’s PB-50, Hassam Jamot has been selected.
They said that both parties are working to have seat-to-seat adjustment for other constituencies also in Balochistan.
BNP and PPP have united in the better interest of the people of Balochistan and will extend this alliance to all levels in the entire province.
They jointly said that instead of electing opportunists and seasonal fliers, true political leadership should be encouraged. Corrupt politicians have no space in the parliament because voters are now well aware of their caustic plans.
PPP’s leadership Asif Ali Zardari and BNP-M Chief Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal are already in communication and there are chances of developing some political strategies for the welfare of the people in Balochistan.
