FAISALABAD: Former state minister of finance and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Afzal Khan visited his constituency and had to face the ire of his constituents.
Voters took out their frustration during Khan’s visit to NA-110 after five years.
The constituents complained, “You remember us now? Where were you for five years?”
Voters also claimed that the PML-N leader had refused to even recognise them when they had visited his house earlier to discuss a matter pertaining to contaminated water.
Khan’s voters also told him that they had lost faith in him since he had failed to resolve their issues during his time in office.
Earlier, former Sindh chief minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah, Jamal Leghari, Shahid Bosan and former leader of the opposition Khurshid Shah had to face similar situations when they visited their constituencies in light of the upcoming general elections.
