RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday said that security forces had recovered huge cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the north and south Waziristan agencies.
The IBOs were conducted in Patwelai in South Waziristan and Gharlamai in North Waziristan.
Anti-tank mines, mortar bombs, ammunition, detonating cords, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) were recovered during the operations.
The weapons and ammunition were hidden underground.
