A Pakistani plane carrying 48 people crashed on December 7, in the country's mountainous north and burst into flames killing everyone on board, authorities said, in one of the deadliest aviation accidents in the country's history. JHELUM: A pilot martyred during crash landing of a PAF at Peshawar Airbase the other day was laid to rest with military honour here on Wednesday.
A large number of people including family, relatives, high profile social, political personalities and citizens attended the funeral prayers of the martyred pilot, identified as Israr.
People continued visiting the residence of the deceased to condole with the bereaved family and offer ‘fateha’ for the departed soul.
