ISLAMABAD: A woman who was allegedly not given cancer and diabetes medicines locked herself in the Polyclinic Executive Director Block along with officials for almost two hours.
The woman wanted medicines manufactured by a specific company which was not possible for the hospital, according to Polyclinic Spokesperson Dr Sharif Astori.
The spokesperson added that police were called but they did not take any action because the woman herself was allegedly a police official.
On the other hand, the woman while speaking to journalists said that the hospital was involved in selling medicines in the open market.
