KARACHI: The Sindh government on Saturday extended the deadline for revalidation, computerisation of arms licenses till December 31, 2018.
Sindh Home Secretary Suhail Anwar Khan Siyal in a statement advised masses of the province to save their weapons registered on manual arms licenses from forfeiture and to save them from a possible legal action against them.
He said that in case of failure to get the manual arms licenses registered till 31st December, the unregistered manual arms licenses shall be cancelled, the weapons registered on these shall be forfeited and licence holders shall be liable to legal action.
The home secretary further said that this is the last chance for revalidation computerisation of manual arms license and there shall be on further extension.
