PESHAWAR: A Pakistani soldier attained martyred when militants attacked a check post from across the Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan on Friday.
The officials in Miranshah, the headquarter of North Waziristan, informed that a group of militants from Afghanistan opened firing against personnel of Betani Rifles, a wing of the Frontier Corps, near the Pak-Afghan border. A soldier was martyred as a result of the firing.
The deceased was identified as Naqash Khattak.
