Pakistani fashion designer Rizwan Beyg displays collection at Buckingham Palace

Pakistani fashion designer Rizwan Beyg who is well-known in the fashion circuit, showcased his collection at The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange, held at Buckingham Palace, earlier this year.

Beyg’s original truck art designs and hand-embroidery done by the women of Bahawalpur were featured at the prestigious exhibition. The designer’s collection exhibit motifs created by original truck artists that have been printed on silk by women belonging to Pakistan’s rural areas.

The excited designer took to social media to share pictures of his displays at the event.

The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange showcases fashion talent from 53 countries. It brings the modern day values to life through fashion.

A graduate of the National College of Arts (NCA), Beyg has been an integral part of the Pakistan fashion industry. His work includes bridal and pret wear and he has displayed his work at different fashion events across the world.

Earlier, it was also rumoured that Beyg was collaborating with Bollywood film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for an upcoming film. However, there was no confirmation on the matter.
