Pakistani 15-year-old to conduct toss for FIFA WC match

SIALKOT: A 15-year-old Pakistani boy will conduct the toss for the match between Brazil and Costa Rica in ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Ahmed Raza will conduct the toss for the match scheduled for June 22. The toss will take play at 4:45 pm (PST).

Ahmed from Sialkot is a huge fan of Neymar Jr and Brazilian football team.

Three generations of Ahmed’s family have been involved in crafting the hand-stitched footballs for the professional leagues around the world, as per a press release.

A soft drink company has collaborated with two-time Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy to document Ahmed’s journey from Sialkot to the FIFA World Cup stadium.

Pakistan football men’s team captain Kaleemullah will also join the teenager on his journey to Moscow for the tournament.
