QUETTA: A police officer was injured while his father and son were killed when unidentified militants opened fire on their vehicle in Quetta on Wednesday.
Police said that unidentified armed men sprayed bullets at Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdul Samad’s vehicle in Nawan Killi area of Quetta, critically injuring the three men. They were moved to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) where Samad’s father and his son succumbed to their wounds while the police officer is reportedly in a serious condition.
Police said that the incident seemed to be an outcome of personal enmity, however, a case was registered and an investigation is underway.
