ISLAMABAD: At least 450 bikers were given emergency treatment by the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) during Eid holidays.
4,500 patients visited the institute’s emergency department during Eid holidays, according to PIMS Media Coordinator Dr Waseem Khawaja.
Dr Khawaja said, “Ten motorbike riders underwent major neurosurgeries while five of them were admitted to their serious condition ward.”
“A number of riders fractured either their hands or legs and some had to be given stitches,” the doctor added.
