NAWAB SHAH: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Monday said that PPP will inflict a crushing defeat on the rivals in upcoming general elections.
Addressing a ceremony in Nawab Shah, Zardari said that the PPP is a party of the common man and it has always served the masses. “We will deliver crushing defeat to our rivals in the general elections.”
The PPP leader said that the workers should make full preparations for the election. He added that if PPP is voted to power, it would make Pakistan stronger and prosperous.
“From today, I have launched my election campaign. Faryal Talpur has got much development work done in Nawab Shah but much work needs to be done here. Therefore, I announced to contest elections myself here and I will make Nawab Shah a model district after succeeding in the election,” Zardari said.
“I will invite Lahore’s leaders and show them what a model district is,” he stated.
