Former federal railways minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Saad Rafique on Thursday disclosed his second marriage with PTV news anchor Dr Shafaq Hira, after keeping it a secret for over two years.
According to reports, Saad Rafique mentioned news anchor Dr Shafaq Hira as his second wife, along with mentioning his first wife Ghazala in the nomination papers submitted before the returning officer for elections 2018.
The reports about the secret marriage of Saad and Hira emerged in 2016 following which his first wife had reportedly become furious, threatening her husband to leave the house and her children.
Shafaq is an MBBS from Abbottabad Medical College and hails from Wah Cantonment.
