PESHAWAR: A 10-member caretaker cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) was sworn in on Thursday.
KP Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra administered the oath to newly inducted cabinet members in a ceremony held at Governor’s House, Peshawar. Caretaker Chief Minister Dost Muhammad Khan was also present on the occasion.
The new cabinet comprises only one female member while the rest of them are males. Almost all of the members are new to the political circles.
One member of the cabinet, Akbar Jan Marwat from Southern Laki Marwat district has earlier served in provincial caretaker set up.
Besides Akbar Jan Marwat, the other members of the caretaker cabinet are Muhammad Rashid Khan, Dr Sarah Safdar, Muqadas Ullah, Abdul Rauf Khan, Muhammad Sanaullah Khan, Zafar Iqbal Bangash, Anwarul Haq, Fazal Elahi and Justice (r) Asadullah Khan Chamkani.
