LAHORE: Ousted prime minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz said in a statement on Wednesday that the vote should be respected.
She said, “I pray to God that we are successful in our ‘respect for vote’ movement.”
“May Allah protect the country from different diseases,” Maryam added.
Maryam also remarked, “The time has passed for those who were hatching plots to delay the elections, the nation is awake and the people are aware now.”
She claimed that the PML-N would ascend to power in Punjab as a consequence of the upcoming general elections.
“I urge all voters to come out and vote because it is now or never,” she added.
