MADINA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan reached Madina Munawara to perform Umrah and he came out of plane barefoot out of the respect for Prophet (PBUH).
In a video circulating on social media, Khan can be seen coming out of the plane wearing just the socks and meeting with Saudi officials.

The PTI chief left for Umran on Monday along with his wife Bushra Maneka and his close friend Zulfi Bukhari. They are expected to return to Pakistan before Eid.
On Monday, Bukhari was stopped by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) before the flight. Later, it was reported that the Interior Ministry ordered the immigration authorities to remove Bukhari’s name from the ECL after he was stopped from boarding a flight to Saudi Arabia for Umrah along with party chairman.
The FIA officials told the media that the London-based businessman was set to fly to Saudi Arabia from Rawalpindi via a charter flight along with the PTI chief and his wife, Bushra Maneka.
The charter flight was ready to take off from Nur Khan airbase.
“Bukhari was stopped from boarding the flight as his name is placed on the Exit Control List,” the officials reported.
