Police registers case six months after journalist’s murder

ISLAMABAD: The murder case of a journalist, Memoona Arif, was registered six months after her death.

The complaint was lodged by Arif Ali, her father, following which police registered the case.

Arif had been a resident of Islamabad for nine years, according to the First Information Report (FIR).

The autopsy report reportedly showed that it was a murder case.

Police were also looking for the man who had brought her to PIMS where the journalist breathed her last.
