Pakistan, Scotland to clash in first T20 today


EDINBURGH: Pakistan and Scotland will clash in first T20 International on Tuesday in Edinburgh.

High on the ODI win against England, Scottish team is looking to upset Pakistan, the highest ranked T20 team, in the first of their two T20s.

Scotland is currently ranked 11 in ICC T20 team rankings while Pakistan is at the top of the list.

Talking to media, Pakistan Captain Sarfraz Ahmed said: “We were not taking Scotland easy even before their match against England.”

Meanwhile, left-handed batsman Haris Sohail will replace injured Babar Azam for the series. Azam got injured during Lord’s Test match against England.

The match will begin at 8pm PST.
