SARGODHA: A man plunged headfirst into the deep canal in upper Jhelum to rescue his drowning son on Tuesday.
The child had slipped and fallen into the canal and was swept away by the strong current, putting his chances of survival at a risk. However, the man’s quick reaction to rescue his son was successful.
Witnesses told local news sources that the incident was ‘miraculous’ as the circumstances did not seem in favour of the father-son duo.
