LAHORE: A pedestrian bridge near Punjab University’s new campus collapsed after dumpster truck rammed into it on Sunday night, causing a traffic jam on the road.
According to media reports, the dumper collided with the public crossing bridge near university’s Canal road stop. Fortunately, no life was lost in the accident.
Meanwhile, police have filed an FIR and arrested the driver of the dumpster truck as further investigation is underway.
