LAHORE: Light and heavy rain turned the weather pleasant across the country on Saturday.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the rain-thundershower and duststorm/gusty winds are expected in different parts of the country including Gujranwala, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, DG Khan, Zhob divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
The department predicted that current spell will continue till the Saturday evening.
The country faced severe heatwave during last month and rain and duststorm have reduced the intensity of heat. Further, PMD has also predicted that pre-monsoon season in Pakistan will start from June 15, just before Eidul Fitr.
