RAWALPINDI: Chief Justice (CJ) Mian Saqib Nisar took notice of the rainwater that had accumulated inside the Islamabad International Airport following which he ordered the airport manager and head of the construction company to appear before the Lahore High Court (LHC) on June 10.

The CJ called for the airport manager while being at the airport himself.

The deputy terminal manager (DTM) arrived because the airport manager was not available.

Upon inquiry, the DTM failed to satisfy CJ Nisar.

Consequently the staff was directed to appear before the LHC and provide explanations as to why the rainwater was able to enter the airport.
