ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court has sought details from Capital Development Authority and Cantonment board about the tube wells installed in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Hearing a suo motu case pertaining to water scarcity in Islamabad, Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar directed both the CDA and Municipal Corporation to formulate a joint policy on water.
The Chief Justice also directed that reply should be submitted within ten days in the court about the illegal tube wells operating in the twin cities.
