ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and former finance minister Miftah Ismail has expressed the hope that majority of people will use their right of vote in favour of his party due to installing power plants, constructing road networks besides improving economy of this country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the people have been facing loadshedding due to less water level in the dams, rain fall besides climate change that created problem in the energy sector.
He said the PML-N previous government had completed three power plants including Havaili Bahadar Shah while two coal power plants had also started functioning in Sahiwal and Port Qasim area to produce electricity for the country.
The PML-N government had also performed work on Neelum-Jhelum and Nandipur project, he added. Tarbella IV and other power plants would also start functioning soon and the issue of growing demand of energy would be resolved, he said.
To a question about caretaker chief minister of Punjab, he said that the PML-N leaders had expressed reservation over the appointment of Hassan Askari.
