BAJAUR: Pakistan Army Sector Commander, Brigadier Amir Kiani has said that security forces are determined to ensure the provision of basic facilities to the people living in tribal areas.
He was addressing the opening ceremony of newly built Middle School in the hilly Charaming valley on Tuesday.
Senior officials of the security forces and local administration including Commandant Bajaur Scouts, commandant 29 Baloch Regiment Col Abdul Ghafar and Political Agent Bajaur Abdul Amir Khattak were also present on the occasion.
He appreciated 29 Baloch Regiment for constructing the school in Charmang area, one of the most backward and remote locality of the agency.
Brig Amir Kiani expressed the hope that large number of students of the area would avail modern education facility from the school, 29 Baloch Regiment Commandant, Col Abdul Ghafar briefed the sector commander about the school and others ongoing activities by the forces in the area.
He said the school was the first educational facility that is equipped with modern facilities and a talented teaching staff.
Tribal elders also spoke on the occasion and thanked the security forces for establishing a modern education institute in the region.
