ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned DIG Investigation alongwith JIT report on June 28 in the matter pertaining to abduction of citizens from sector G-11.
Ramna Police have failed to recover Nazir Hussain and his wife despite registration of case.
A single member bench of IHC led by Justice Athar Minallah took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
Inam ur Rahim advocate appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioner.
He argued that some persons wearing black civil clothes abducted the citizen and his wife from sector G-11 on January 13, 2018.
Later Ramna Police registered the case and started investigation. But police have failed to recover the abductees so far.
SHO Ramna police has been made respondent in the petition.
The police while filing its reply said that a Joint Investigation Team (IJT) has been constituted under DIG investigation which is investigating the matter.
The court after hearing the arguments from both sides ordered DIG Investigation to appear before it along with JIT report on next hearing.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till June 28.
