Hamza Ali Abbasi to pay defamation charges by continuing to market Reham Khan’s book

(Disclaimer: this is a work of fiction. Learn to take a joke; you’ll live longer.)

ISLAMABAD – After Reham Khan on Monday served a defamation notice on actor Hamza Ali Abbasi for “spreading, publishing and broadcasting several communications, statements and representations online and in print and broadcast media” related to her upcoming book, it has further been revealed that the defamation money could be paid by providing services.

The Dependent has reliably learnt from sources that the defamation notice sent to Hamza Abbasi includes the clause where the actor could just continue to “spread, publish and broad several communications, statements and representations online and in print and broadcast media” related to Reham Khan’s upcoming book.

While Hamza Ali Abbasi didn’t confirm this clause while talking exclusively to The Dependent, his comments reaffirmed that he indeed plans to continue to market the book.

“I will keep talking about the book till every single person in Pakistan does not know about it,” he said, trying to suggest that he is actually doing the opposite, but practically already fulfilling the clause in the defamation notice that he is yet to confirm.

“I will discuss the book on every channel, every forum, till everyone agrees that no one should even be bothered about this book,” he added.
